“ My husbands coworker recommended he try the redneck egg roll at Sonnys. The foodie in me started checking to see which location had it but I could only find out dated posted about this interesting creation. The reviews were all good so we were prompted even more to find it. I pulled into the drive thru at Sonnys and saw the BBQ Pork Egg rolls. I asked Billie drive thru worker if that was the same as red neck egg roll and she confirmed. So this roll is hand made per Billie. All the ingredients and the rollwrap are prepared fresh. You can definitely tell that from the taste. If you just read the ingredients it doesnt sound appealing but take a bite and you will agree it is a spectacular combination of goodness. The roll appears to be fried lightly a slight crunch on the outside but soft inside and pairs well with the ingredients Cole slaw pulled pork pepper Jack cheese. Its not hot from the cheese just the right touch of spice. The dipping sauce I believe is ranch but its almost like a yum yum sauce but better . It pairs well with the egg roll. Whomever created this knew what they were doing. Try it they are appetizers but 3 for about 8. Very filling I could only eat one. Cant imagine having this and a large bbq meal as well. BTW Ms Billie is top notch customer service focused. She is a keeper I hope Sonnys treats her right. Valuable addition to the team there. We also had a sliced brisket sandwich we opted for garlic bread. It was cooked very well and the various bbq sauce selections were great additions. Hope to visit again soon ”

“ Our server Jabari was amazing!! He was very friendly from the start! Very accommodating! We were a party of four and he made sure everything was going smooth for us the whole time! My Wife had ordered the beef brisket lean, and another server had delivered it.. it was two very fatty slabs of brisket.. My Wife just doesnt enjoy the fat much at all.. Jabari came out and immediately said thats not right and fixed it for her! Very awesome! Very friendly and we wish more servers were as nice as him! We will be back!! ”

“ We had a pretty big party this past Saturday, like 13 or 14 people, and we had a wonderful time! Our server, JC, gave exceptional service, was extremely kind, and checked up on our table, always grabbing us whatever we needed. Weve had a little trouble in the past with some of our food orders coming out wrong or never being checked up on, but JC made us want to come back to Sonnys more with how much she brought smiles to our faces! The food was great, JC even remembered to bring the extra napkins and I didnt have to ask lol! Our highlight of the party was JC! She handled our large party like a pro, making us pleasantly surprised because past restaurants have always had a little trouble with our large family! She was an exceptional young lady and we will definitely be back soon asking to be served by her! ”

“ This is one of the newer style Sonnys Barbecue, with a bar that serves cocktails, beer and wine. The barbecue is good, like every Sonnys we have eaten in. The service is also very good and they have a drive through. One of our favorite places to stop. ”

“ I have not been here in many years but expectations were exceeded. The inside has been remodeled and on a cold day outside it was very warm inside, including the food and the service. It was busy and eventually I learned staff did not show today making wait times a little longer in some areas. Certainly nothing to overshadow the excellent food and service. Lauren was amazing and worked very hard covering more territory that probably what she planned to cover today. Thanks Sonnys in Perry! ”

“ Great family place to eat. Brisket is well smoked, tender and juicy. Chicken is always tender and moist. Jalapeno and cheese sausage is great. You also cant go wrong with the Brisket sandwich and coleslaw for lunch! All around great place to eat! Ill definitely go back when Im travelling through the area! ”

“ OMG you have to go and ask if Cameron is working! Ive never had such a great waiter. I actually usually prefer waitresses because guys no offense are usually not that great at waiting tables. Cameron is the GOAT!!! This is the second time weve been and had him, and it is the best 2xs of service Ive ever had and weve been going here since they opened! The food was good and fresh as well, with enough left over for lunch tomorrow! The fried okra was extra crispy as requested, and the fries and tots were cooked perfectly I forgot to take pictures of our main dishes. The ribs and smoked turkey were great too. ”

“ Oh my word!! I ordered the brisket, and my husband ordered the 3 meat meal. After a short while, the cook came to our table to inform us that the brisket that was ready was not suitable in his opinion to serve. He asked which meat wed like to have instead. I asked for the baby back ribs, and my husband said, ribs for me, too. My baby back ribs were the BEST EVER! Fall off the bone! The flavor was so delicious! Yes, finger licking good! My husband ended up with spare ribs. Neither of us particularly care for those. But he said they werent bad. Beans yumm! Cole slaw, finished it all, even though I was pretty full because I had eaten everything, including the garlic bread, which was perfectly toasted on both sides! And as a definite plus, we didnt freeze while we waited for our food, or while we were waiting. They surely know how to please their customers ”
